And I think about.
What I could’ve done differently.
She told me to live without regret.
She didn’t tell me.
She would regret me.
So many cast members.
In this tale.
It’s a shame really.
That I’m the main character.
That no one thought very highly of.
I think…
I think…
No.
No, I know.
For certain.
That I’ll feel complete.
In knowing our connection.
It is nice and bright
Above sea level.
Always at a level I have control of.
No.
No, that sounds condescending.
And not at all.
Who I am.
Or want to be.
Deep down.
In the fathomless deeps below.
Is where I lie.
Tucked within myself.
Watching the ships go by.
